RUMOURS have emerged that former paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius is going through a financial crisis.
This is apparently what led to his being admitted to Kalafong Hospital in Atteridgeville on Thursday morning.
He had allegedly been anxious the whole week after hearing that his finances were not in good shape.
A source said: “Oscar trusted people to handle his finances and is usually updated on how his money is doing.
“He apparently lost a lot of money he had invested over the past two weeks.
“He became frustrated and couldn’t take it any more,” claimed the source.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, the convicted murderer complained of chest pain, shortness of breath and was struggling to talk.
His father apparently rushed to the hospital after he was admitted but he was turned away by prison officials.
Pistorius was discharged from the hospital after spending a full day and night there. Correctional services spokesman Singabakho Nxumalo said Pistorius was back in prison.
“We can confirm the offender was discharged on Friday morning and will be continuing his sentence in prison.”
